The Irish Business Network was established in 2011, it was the first official Irish business council to be set up in Dubai and is registered with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce. The IBN membership has grown and now has an average of 250 members across all sectors of business. Our purpose is to promote commercial and business interests in the UAE, champion economic activities between Ireland and the UAE and provide a platform for our members to network across industries.
The IBN hold monthly networking breakfast meetings which allow members to come together and promote their businesses through sponsorship opportunities or deliver a three minute ‘Elevator Pitch’. The IBN breakfast meetings feature guest speakers from leading businesses from Dubai and Ireland. We work closely with other Irish organisations such as The Irish Embassy, Tourism Ireland, Bord Bia and Enterprise Ireland to deliver relevant, qualitative and informative content.
The IBN also hold a number of smaller sub sector meeting chaired by specific industry professionals which include Finance, SME, Food, Education, Construction, Hospitality, Travel & Tourism, The Women’s Sector and the Young Business Network. We continue to grow and develop these sectors and suggestions are always welcome.
We encourage our membership to introduce new Irish members to the organisation as our main objective it to reach as many Irish companies and business individuals as possible.
We hope to welcome you to an IBN event shortly.
